Kos – Greece, 11 October 2019 – NETECO IT Systems undertook and has already completed the exclusive study, design and installation of network and IT equipment at Horizon Beach Resort. The hotel is located in Kos with a total area of 150,000 sq.m. and 428 luxurious rooms.
NETECO engineers’ many years of experience and technical expertise enabled the implementation in a short period of time. Over 15km of fiber optic cables and 40km of CAT6A have been runned, 190 fiber optic welds, 275 Access Points, 78 POE managed Switches and 530 IP phones were installed. Two Data Centers were designed and installed on site with redundant Servers and Offsite Backup as well as necessary configuration and installation of next generation UTM Firewall to protect the network and hotel and guest data.
With the supervision of NETECO and the scalable network architecture designed from the outset, any future need to expand and upgrade the entire installation can be met.
